|Cooler than average. Partly cloudy. Calm / light breeze.
||⁃ Sebastian left to go to Aranoal’s Inn to see if there was any word from Borace. Dash got an early start on info gathering and discovered that Young Godwyn entered the city under what looked like protective guard and did not seem in distress or threatened in any way.
⁃ The rest of the party toured Carana District and took a look at the Palace of Three Hearts (from beyond the exterior walls/through the gate).
⁃ They were approached by a group of Atrosan Priests who recognized them as outsiders and offered to hire them to capture a criminal pirate/assassin who committed crimes against their church members (he broke into their treasurer’s home, killed the man and stole many valuables). Note the Priests want him alive (5k gp reward). They will only pay 1k gp if he is dead when they bring him to the Temple.
⁃ Shopping. While in the Market Square, they came upon a ruckus outside a weaponsmith shop. The apprentice workers had taken the owner, a master smith, captive by way of protesting his ill-treatment of them. The constabulary had formed a perimeter around the forge and were forcibly moving the lookie-loos away from the scene.
⁃ Upon return to their Inn, the group met up with Dash. Plans were begun for both the rescue of Young Godwyn, as well as the capture of the pirate.
⁃ That evening, Father Gilbar was escorted to the Red Citadel where he was entertained by Prefect Gamble Dorganne, the Glorious Red Sun and was given a very nice meal and good conversation. It was a noted disappointment that Sebastian missed the dinner.
